GUYS I JUST ALL THE FEELINGS. ALL THE FEELINGS EVER.

The finale...just man, I can't wait til it aires. Because it's goign to be amazing. It was hell to get through? But it's awesome. Even if Drew wouldn't let me go after we wrapped. Which was okay...I wasn't complaining at all.

And then the Canucks. Holy Shit you guys, jsut just just...we got beat by the Kings. And now there are all the evil rumors flying around again. And just...Luu's waiving his no trade if the team asks and some people think that trading him and Kes is the way to go and then the BS about Cody and just ALL THE EMOTIONS ALL OF THEM.

Been feeling weird today and I'm taking it easy...makign Drew take it easy too. Some family shit is going down and he's been all but banned from going back because his mom's got his hands full and just yeah. Really wish I could make it better, given that it hurts when people you love hurt and you can't make it better.

Though I'd give a lot for my side to stop....[post trails off, sentence unfinished]

Oh Portage, time flies when work is awesome. And off work is awesome. The only thing not awesome is how my Canucks managed to lose to the WILD. I mean I'd rather they lose to the Leafs really...it's just UGH.

...though there was some good consolation sex afterwards....

The playoffs are coming up in a hurry and I've already called and checked about playoff tickets. I kind of plan on taking a friend to at least one of them if it's possible.

Shooting is going to wrap up soon and guys, I'm really excited about the finale. I'm thrilled for my character and getting to act out this part and I can't say anything more but it's going to be brilliant.

And I've got a new housemate for the moment, my old friend is here and staying with me and I'm really glad he is.

So I'm a huge hockey fan. This might not be news for some of you...but despite having lived and loved and learned in Boston. I'm not a Bruins fan.

No, I'm a Vancouver Canucks fan. And for anyone who wants to come experience the hockey awesome for yourself, I'm throwing a shindig for their Sunday game against the Stars.

So yeah. Come see a good game, an excellent team, and some very excellent food and booze.

EDIT: What the hell? The random surprise package was really really surprising and unexpected? Gorgeous piece but um.

UM UM UM. Is there some special thing that I missed? A memo? Do people normally give jewelry for this birthday? I'm really confused. And it's...it's gorgeous and silver (which I prefer) and I'm pretty sure that's a real amethyst which I think is actually my birthstone and if it is...that's a statement right? A statement of intent, I think (maybe? or just a nice gift that I am overthinking? Both are equally valid possibilities) and just holy shit. I don't even know what to DO with this.sending it back would require I take it off and I haven't been able to do that yet. It's sort of perfect.

Ugh. Bored and horny and my helpful aids aren't really doing it for me. And yes, I know that's probably way more information than anyone needed, but oh well, I'm not really caring.

So apparently the Colonel is overseas again, in an undisclosed location, doing no one knows what, and hasn't been heard from in a little under two weeks. And this is seriously damaging my father's calm for some reason that I can't even really understand. The only reason I discovered it was because my brother called me wanting to know where Dad puts the can opener.

The housekeeper had gone home for the day and he was attempting to make dinner for himself and Dad, who was apparently locked in his office, having a mini meltdown.

So yeah. That happened.

And I'm just not sure what to do with all of this. I mean I offered to let my brother fly out here and hang out for a little bit but I'm not sure what Dad will do by himself. And just...damn my mother The Colonel for doing this.

There's very few things better in life than reconnecting with old friends, Haagen Daaz Chocolate Ice Cream, and catching up on Downton Abbey. My dear friend and fellow Bostonite, Andrew, was up here for a quick visit. He'd spent Christmas with his sister-in-law's family, the band, and his mum and needed some time away. Officially he was here working on songs for the next album his band is recording. Unofficially we were catching up and watching all the good, bad, and trashy television ever. Thank you Netflix and Tivo.

Does anyone else in Portage watch this show?

I am just old enough to find this hysterically funny. My New Years was pretty good, quiet but good. Spent some time with films, calling old friends, chatting up people on Facebook, and answering some of the various fan mail that I've not gotten around to yet.

I'm looking forward to the new ways that the show is taking my character. It's fascinating to see the words on the paper and know that they'll be translated into an awesome set of scenes for everyone to watch on TV.

OH OH and I just found this and OMG. I forgot how convoluted that show was! It was one of my favorite shows when I was little. Does anyone else besides me remember it?

There's a thing tonight, where one of my co-stars is getting people together to go caroling and I'm going with them. It's been a while since I've done something like that. It should be loads of fun. And then tomorrow there's dropping off gifts and then shopping for the party.

Because yes, I'm throwing a Christmas party on Christmas and I threw it open to just about everyone who's staying here for Christmas. So if you're staying in Portage and you want to come celebrate, the door is open. Though if you want to leave me a message here, I'll text you or PM you the address if you don't already have it.

I sent out the family gifts already and it looks like the Colonel will be joining Dad and little bro on the slopes. Good for her. Maybe this year, there'll be a Christmas miracle and she'll start trying to be a better parent to Milos. I'm a lost cause at this point.

It's been interesting setting up the house and getting to know everyone. I'm sort of excited to come back from hiatus and see what else is new for my character and all.

Congrats to all my coworkers who were nominated for Globes. I hope that the show will take the Globes by storm.

I'm staying here. It will be bliss, absolute bliss. Because the Lieutenant Colonel will be away and my brother's dragging my father out to Vermont to go try and murder themselves on the slopes. So I get to have a nice, family drama free Christmas.


...which of course means that I am throwing a huge party at my place. Everyone is welcome. There will be music, food, drinks of all kinds, desserts that will outnumber the actual healthy food, and possibly even dancing.
